The Coordinating Committee of NCMA is the body responsible for administering the work of the organization. The Coordinating Committee (a.k.a. “CoCom”) is elected at the annual business meeting of NCMA.
Michelle Scott-Huffman - President
Rev. Michelle Scott-Huffman is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and is the Campus Minister and Director of Ekklesia Progressive Campus Ministry at Missouri State University (DOC, UCC, PCUSA, & ELCA). Michelle holds an MDIV from Eden Theological Seminary and is currently in the Project Phase of her DMIN degree from Phillips Theological Seminary in the “Church and Society: Collaborating for Change” program. Michelle’s passions involve creating and holding sacred space for people with diverse views to discover that they are deeply loved, valued, and called to vocations that match their unique gifts and passions to the needs of the world. When not on campus or preaching in a local church, Michelle loves spending time with her wife, Stephanie, daughters, Alexis and Morgan, and her ridiculously large dog, Cooper.

Jamie Lynn Haskins - President-Elect
Rev. Jamie Lynn Haskins is an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), currently serving the University of Richmond as Chaplain for Spiritual Life. Prior to her arrival at the University of Richmond, Jamie Lynn served as the Chaplain at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri and as the Minister of Faith Formation and Social Justice at University Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Seattle, WA. She is passionate about cultivating, promoting and sustaining an active life of faith that centers on social justice, prophetic witness, and radical hospitality. In addition to her campus and church ministries, she has also served as a community organizer and social activist, working with organizations such as Tennesseans Against the Death Penalty, Jobs with Justice, and Interfaith Worker Justice.

Nancy Janisch - Membership Secretary
Nancy Janisch is the ministry coordinator for True North Campus Ministry, a PC(USA) supported campus ministry in Grand Rapids MI. True North is a multi campus ministry working at Grand Rapids Community College, Kendall College of Art and Design and Grand Valley State University. Nancy has a particular interested in the areas of vocation, spiritual formation, and dialogue between science and religion. Before returning to seminary (Saint Paul School of Theology), Nancy worked as a small animal and emergency veterinarian.

Hunter Darrouzet- Treasurer
Hunter Darrouzet is the Director of Campus Ministry at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa. He has a B. A. in religious studies from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Pastoral Ministry from the University of Dallas. Hunter worked for 5 years as the Newman Center Director at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado and before that he was a campus minister at the University of Dallas for 3 years. He is knowledgeable about Men’s Ministry, mission trips, service projects, and Spiritual Direction. Hunter is married to his wife Lindsey and has worked as a professional photographer and as a rock climbing instructor before becoming a full-time campus minister.

Elizabeth Snader- Secretary
Elizabeth grew up in Northern Virginia and then attended Messiah College and studied Christian Ministries. She was very involved in student ministry during her time there and was on the Student Chaplain team her senior year. After graduation in May 2015, Elizabeth went to seminary at Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC. While there, she discovered her passion for working with college-aged students and counseling. She graduated with her Masters of Divinity in May 2018 and is very excited to be working at the Campus Christian Community at the University of Mary Washington. In her free time, she loves to spend time with friends and family and traveling the world.

Brenda Ford- Member at Large
Rev. Brenda Denise Ford is an ordained Elder in the A.M.E. Church and has served in the field of higher education chaplaincy since 2009. Rev. Brenda has a wide range of pastoral, chaplaincy, evangelization, and theological experiences that have prepared her to be the Director and Campus Minister of The Protestant Campus Ministry at Stony Brook University. She also teaches courses in human development and global health, wellness, and community at SBU. With professional backgrounds in gerontology, health administration and religious contexts, Brenda is passionate about helping communities, organizations, and individuals explore and share their unique gifts with a complex and changing world. Rev. Brenda was born and raised in New York and is a successful product of the district 29 Public School System. Brenda received a Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York and holds a Master of Science from Long Island University in Health Administration. She is a certified Women’s Empowerment Coach and licensed Christian Meditation practitioner. She loves connecting with students about their classes, interfaith engagement, identity, family, social justice, folklore and fairytales, mental health, and spiritual journeys. She treasures prayer walking, teatime, and coloring with the chaplain. Her favorite campus beverage with students is Taro bubble tea and Iced Matcha Tea Latte.

Jane Strike - Business Manager
Jane is the business manager of the NCMA and the person who will first read [email protected] emails! She is in her 12th year as the business manager at Threehouse: A Wesley Foundation, at the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is a Catholic by birth, Methodist by heritage and marriage, and is currently a member of an ELCA Lutheran congregation. She has been married to her husband Rich for 35 years, and has 2 young adult children.

Shannon is the former President of NCMA and a former campus minister. Shannon is ordained with the PC(USA) and has an MDiv and MACE from Union Presbyterian Seminary. Her passions include creating connections between people, listening to people's stories, and empowering young people to create change. Located in Fredericksburg, VA, Shannon enjoys her work with NCMA, the local church, and spending time with her husband, Will, and their children.
