This position within the Office of Equity and Inclusivity guides, nurtures and enhances spiritual, religious, and ethical life within the Dickinson College community. We are collectively committed to ensuring lively, thoughtful and supportive contexts for Dickinson students, faculty and staff to explore life’s most pressing questions about who they are and want to become for the sake of the world.

Essential Functions:
Leads and coordinates overall vision, strategy and programming of campus-wide interfaith endeavors. As the leader of the Interfaith Advisory Board and member of the Equity and Inclusion team, the Director works with cross-campus collaborators to develop and implement a campus-wide interfaith strategic plan.
Builds and maintains a strong and comprehensive student programming model that supports and encourages an environment of religious exploration, meaning making, and purpose and identity development.
Advances a culture of interfaith understanding and appreciation for all members of the Dickinson community through programming, campus, and community collaborations.
Functions as chaplain for the College. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordination of family liaison training, assisting emergency management team when student death occurs, and facilitating memorial services for members of the campus community, etc.
Coordinate interfaith services trips and faith pilgrimages, including training student leaders, pre-trip education, reflections and evaluation.
Provides leadership and development of department staff and student staff.

Preferred Qualifications and Education:
          5-8 years experience
Required:
         Master’s degree – religion, interfaith work
Preferred:
        Doctoral Degree – religion, interfaith dialogue
