Assistant Director, Campus ministry, Marquette University

Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin invites applications for a full-time position of Assistant Director to lead and support Campus Ministry programs and enhance student focused ministry. Primary responsibilities will be to develop Campus Ministry programs focused on pastoral outreach, programs, and support for students of non-Euro-American background; to facilitate intercultural faith community building. S/he will also collaborate to extend pastoral outreach to student groups who are diverse in membership but gather primarily for purpose other than campus ministry programs (e.g. athletes, graduate students, international students). S/he will assist the coordinator of interfaith programing. This includes incorporating elements of action and reflection through the lens of Ignatian spirituality and coordinating multicultural outreach and ministry as well as pastoral outreach to LGBTQ and Allied students. Requires a master’s degree in theology, divinity or related field, plus at least one year of experience in a multi-cultural context, bilingual spiritual direction, public speaking or preaching, retreat planning, and planning bi/multi-lingual and Spanish language liturgy.
